What You Will Learn From This Class
ACI’s standup comedy classes are conducted by award-winning, comedy director and writer Stephen Rosenfield and his standup staff. They are conducted so that when it’s time for your club performance, you will have solidly written, funny material and you will be well rehearsed and ready to perform at your peak and beyond. These standup comedy classes are offered to both beginners and advanced students. The workshops are comprised of group classes, private coaching sessions and a performance at Gotham or West Side Comedy Club.

Your Standup Comedy Instructors
Stephen Rosenfield is the Director of the American Comedy Institute and author of the bestselling book “Mastering Stand-up: The Complete Guide To Becoming A Successful Comedian . He coaches and directs performers ranging from beginners to Emmy and Tony Award-winning and Oscar-nominated star talent. The accomplishments of Stephen Rosenfield’s students include starring roles in movies, network and premium cable television series, commercials, Broadway and off-Broadway productions, and hosting their own radio programs…
Ethan Herschenfeld performs regularly at comedy clubs across the country including Gotham, Carolines, Comic Strip Live, The Comedy Store, Zanies, Comedy on State, and The Ice House. His credits in the UK include Top Secret Comedy Club (London), Monkey Barrel (Edinburgh), The Stand (Glasgow and Newcastle), and Yes Bar (Glasgow).
As an actor, he plays mostly thugs on shows including Boardwalk Empire (HBO), Damages (FX), Girls (HBO), Gotham (Fox), High Maintenance (HBO), Blue Bloods (CBS), The Blacklist (NBC), Madam Secretary (CBS), and Happy! (SyFy). As an operatic bass, he sang mostly thugs, in the US, Europe, Asia, and Africa, including performances at Carnegie Hall and the Metropolitan Opera.

Becky Veduccio-Langton has been a professional comedian, writer and actress for over 15 years. She has performed standup comedy and improv in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and London and has appeared in commercials, theatre and feature films. She was most recently a contestant on the 2018 season of America’s Got Talent.
Her film work includes Return To Me, Maid In Manhattan and Random Hearts. As a writer, she was chosen as one of Parenting.com’s top five “Fave Mommy Bloggers” for her humorous articles in “Woman Around Town” Magazine. In 2015, she won the New York Press Club Award for Humorous Writing. As an instructor, Becky has taught standup comedy to every age group – from elementary school and teenagers to University students and adults. She believes everyone has a comedic voice! Becky currently lives in Bloomfield, NJ and is the proud mom of three children who she says are the “greatest and most inspirational productions” she could have ever hoped for.
